In Strise you have the option to edit the ownership map of a company. This is a very helpful tool, especially for situations where you might have updated information from your customer that the UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) might not show.

You have the option to edit any existing owners, delete them entirely, or add new ones to the chart. All of these changes will automatically be reflected and anyone in your team will see them as well. The change will also be updated in the side panel, in any reviews you complete, and in any PDF reports you generate.

Note: Strise always keeps the original version of any chart. As a user, you have peace of mind knowing that there’s always an original copy.

As changes are made, so is the data. Strise will sanction check all new companies and people that are added. We will automatically check the PEP status of new owners, which has been toggled as the ultimate beneficial owner.

If you’ve made any changes, your name will be included so your team can see who made the edit. The same goes for any other team member who does the same.

We recognise that not everyone need to change, edit or delete the ownership details in a UBO. That’s why Strise has just added the option to add a comment as well. This is helpful to communicate vital information that your team might need, right where it’s most important. Just another way you can work smarter and save time.

What is an ownership conflict? And how do I resolve it?

An ownership conflict occurs when your edited data does not match newly updated data from the shareholder register. Upon notification of an ownership conflict, you must choose whether to retain your edited data or replace it with updated data from the shareholder register.

Where do I find ownership conflicts?

You will receive a notification (in the bell icon at the top right when you are logged into Strise), as well as by email.
