šŸ‘¹Ā Devils in the defaults

When I moved from Windows/Linux to Mac I found the OS really annoying, as I was missing a lot of the things Iā€™d grown to love with the other platforms. However, it turns out MacOs is more customizable that I gave it credit for, and that more or less all the challenges I faced were possible to overcome.

This post is a collection of the changes I made to MacOs that made my life easier āœØ.

šŸŽĀ Nice Apps

First of, install a few apps that will change/add the default behavior of window management and the terminal.

Rectangle (Pro)

MacOs basically comes without any real windows management, making it hard to efficintely split your screen into different sections, quickly arrange windows, etc.

Rectangle (Pro) fixes this! I also really recommend getting the Pro version, as it is a completely different product with a lot more features and options. You can expense it!
