Overview

Monitoring alerts settings control which types of changes generate alerts for your team and how you receive them. These settings are available under Settings in the app and can be adjusted by team managers.

The settings page is organized into four sections:

  1. Show Monitoring Alerts view — control whether the Monitoring Alerts page is visible in the app sidebar
  2. PEP alerts — configure alerts related to Politically Exposed Persons
  3. Sanctions alerts — configure alerts related to sanctions lists
  4. Relation alerts — configure alerts related to changes in roles, ownership, and beneficial owners

Each alert category (PEP, Sanctions, Relations) can be independently enabled or disabled, and has its own granular configuration options. Users can also choose whether to receive alerts via email in addition to the in-app view.

1. Show Monitoring Alerts view

This toggle controls whether the Monitoring Alerts page is visible in the app sidebar.

When disabled, the Monitoring Alerts page is hidden from the sidebar. Some customers may choose this if they want their users to primarily get alerts over the API, and not end up having unresolved alerts in the app if they log in to that interface occasionally. But us this with caution, as it removes the whole Monitoring view for your entire team. Alerts are still accessible via the API if alert categories are enabled, and email notifications are still sent if enabled.

2. PEP alert settings

PEP alert settings let you control when your team receives alerts about PEP-related changes.
