Upgrading how risk is configured in Strise

What's happening: We are migrating risk configuration from your Review settings into Strise's Calculated Risk settings. This gives your team a single, unified place to manage all risk rules — and extends risk highlighting to every part of the platform, not just Reviews.

When: This update is being rolled out to your team shortly. No action is required from you.

What is changing?

Today, some risk configuration lives inside your Review settings — specifically the countries, legal forms, and industries that highlights risk in the Review module. Going forward, all of this will live in one place: Calculated Risk settings.

BEFORE — Review risk settings

Risk rules configured per module, inside the Review settings panel. Limited to the Review workflow.

This configuration will be retired.

AFTER — Calculated Risk settings

All risk rules in one centralised settings page. Applies across the entire platform.

Your existing settings are automatically migrated — no action needed.

NB! If you wish to hide the way Calculated Risk is shown throughout the Strise app, you can adjust this yourself in the Calculated Risk settings page. But of course we hope you give it a testrun to see if it provides you additional value in your AML work ✨

This was the previous risk rules configured per module, inside the Review settings panel. It was only limited to the Review workflow, and could therefore cause confusion. This is now centralised.

AFTER — Review risk settings → Calculated Risk settings

This is how you can expect to see your Review settings page today. On the risk settings it will point towards Calculated Risk settings, so that everything is centralised.

In Calculated Risk settings you will find six categories (PEP/RCAs, Sanctions, Countries, Industries, Legal forms and custom risk level). In this screenshot you can see how PEP/RCAs and Sanctions look like, with point scoring and highlighting options. Read more about both of those further down.
