Our Core AI Beliefs
- AI is a requirement for fighting financial crime. There is no one more incentivized to use AI than the fraudulent criminals that are trying to break the financial systems. We need to equip the good guys with the same capabilities. AI is no longer optional. Strise sees AI as the key to helping the financial institutions catch up, providing transparent, safe, and effective AI-driven tools.
- AI as the hidden super power. The AI that makes the biggest impact is often invisible — it quietly automates, optimizes, and assists, while keeping humans in control. Think Spotify recommendations and Google Maps. Our job is to make sure that AI is applied in places that make a difference, supporting people to make better decisions, while ensuring transparency and avoiding black-box outcomes.
- AI adoption starts with us. We can’t rely on the pace at which our customers adopt AI, but we can lead by example. Internally at Strise, we adopt an AI mindset in everything we do — constantly automating tasks that are repetitive and leveraging AI to be more effective.
Supporting Beliefs
- Low effort, big impact: We believe a small effort in AI can lead to a proportionally bigger impact than when building software the “traditional” way.
- AI as automation: A lot of AI is simply automation. It helps smart people avoid repetitive,
low-value tasks by automating them.
- AI is everywhere: AI isn’t just about tech — it’s an everything thing that impacts all aspects of our work.
- “Learning” is the blocker: Never has there been a technological paradigm happening as fast as today. We believe the biggest barrier to AI adoption is simply learning, and staying informed.
- First movers & regulation: Many early AI adopters will fail due to regulatory issues.
We prioritize compliance to ensure success.
- Global impact with small teams: The cost of building is going to zero, making it increasingly accessible. The number of small companies making a global impact is dramatically increasing. This is a huge opportunity, and Strise will be one of them.
- GenAI vs. traditional AI: Generative AI is fundamentally different from traditional AI,
each offering unique benefits. We believe you need a bit of both to succeed.
- Applied AI over R&D: Ride on the “shoulders of giants” by focus on applying AI rather than building from scratch.
